Chris L. Rossi

Chris L Rossi, 69, passed away February 2nd, 2024 surrounded by family and friends. 

Born in Phillipsburg, NJ, to Frank and Lillian Rossi, both deceased, Chris is survived by his sister, Cheryl Rossi.  Also considered brother and sister, he is survived by cousins Wayne George (Nancy) and Anita Falvey (Chuck) as well as many other beloved cousins.  

Chris's life and career were reflective of his personality.  Chris lived and worked in six states including Texas, Tennessee, Colorado, Oregon, Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  He enjoyed an exceptional life both personally and professionally.  

Chris served on numerous Not-for-Profit and Professional Boards. A member of the Citizen Hose Company in Easton, he was also a lifetime member of the Italian American Social Club in P'Burg. 

Chris enjoyed living in Oregon the most! He loved nature and being outdoors. He was especially fond of fly fishing for trout in Colorado, Montana, and Wyoming. He loved to travel and visited Italy twice and was very proud of his Italian heritage. Chris loved spending time with family and friends, traveling, music, nature, animals, food, reading, and football. He was a generous man and a loyal friend to many across the reading, US. Chris's passing will be deeply grieved by all who loved him so dearly.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2024, from 4 – 6 pm at the Finegan Funeral Home at 302 Heckman Street in Phillipsburg. Funeral services will be held on Friday, beginning at the funeral home at 9:00 am followed by a Funeral Mass at 10:00 am at St. Philip & St. James Catholic Church, 430 So. Main Street, also in Phillipsburg. The interment will be at St. Philip & James Cemetery in Greenwich Township, NJ.
