Consiglia “Sue” Jessamine

Consiglia “Sue” Jessamine, 91, of Lopatcong Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on June 23, 2023, at her home.

Born May 20, 1932, in Easton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Anthony Celia and Lenora Gulano Celia.

Sue was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Phillipsburg where she served as a “Stephen Minister.” She was a lover of animals, travel, and had become an Elvis Presley fan after meeting him in 1968. Sue dedicated her life to her family. She provided an unwavering support system for her husband’s construction and service business since 1950. She was a doating mother and grandmother full of kindness, grace, and unconditional love. She was always up for a game of cards, a shopping trip, a spin at the casino, a trip somewhere warm, or a cup of tea at the kitchen table.

Survivors are her husband of 72 wonderful years, Annual “Len” Jessamine, her loving daughter Toni Morello, cherished grandson Brandon Jessamine and wife Amanda, and great-grandsons; Nicholas, Andrew, and Leo. She was also predeceased by numerous brothers and sisters.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023, from 6-8 pm at the Finegan Funeral Home at 302 Heckman Street in Phillipsburg, NJ. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 am. The entombment will follow at the Northampton Memorial Shrine in Palmer Township.
