Daniel C. McConnell

Daniel C. McConnell, 85, of Palmer Township, PA, passed away on February 26, 2023 at the Lehigh Valley Hospice in Allentown, PA.

Born February 24, 1938, in Easton, he was the son of the late Ernest McConnell and Regina Murphy McConnell. In addition to his parents, he was also predeceased by his son, James McConnell, who passed in 2005.

Dan was employed by Bell Telephone in Phillipsburg, NJ, working as a lineman. He was a longtime volunteer with the Phillipsburg Emergency Squad. He enjoyed camping and loved his Dachshund’s.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Wilma Dietrich McConnell, and daughter, Deborah Berardinucci and husband Gary, as well as 4 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.

A calling hour will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2023, from 12:00 to 1:00 pm at the Finegan Funeral Home at 4080 William Penn Highway in Palmer Township, PA, with a funeral service beginning at 1:00 PM. The interment will be at the Northampton Memorial Shrine in Palmer.
