Dr. Robert D. Briglia
In sadness, we announce the passing of Dr. Robert D. Briglia (Bob, Doc, dad, pop, pop pop) who passed at his home on March 27,2024 just a few weeks shy of his 89th Birthday.
He was a man of integrity and admirable character. He was born in Alpha, NJ in 1935. He stayed in the area his whole life raising his family and running his businesses, the Phillipsburg and Alpha pharmacies. He completed medical school, founded Warren Medical Associates, and became the local doc. He served as Chief of Staff at Warren Hospital following his retirement from Warren Medical Associates.
He lived his life caring about and for others. He loved his God and his church. He loved his family and friends. He loved his community.
He will be missed by his loving wife of 66 years Helena, his children Santi and his wife Doreen, Rosalie and her husband Anthony, Christopher and his wife Melinda, Jeffrey and his wife Caterina, Andrew, David and his wife Alison and Joel and his wife Colleen, and his grandchildren Max, Eric, Mackenzie, Daniel, Sam, Vincent, Grace, Alex, Thomas and Jude.
We know he will be missed by many who truly have become a part of our family over all the years.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on April 5, 2024, at 10:00 am at St. Mary Church, 830 5th Ave., Alpha, NJ 08865. The Finegan Funeral Home in Alpha is handling arrangements.
