Joan L. Siebler (Stamets) 75, of Bethlehem, PA, peacefully passed away on April 7 at St. Luke’s Hospice House with her daughters by her side, after a difficult battle with illness.
Joan was born on September 3, 1947 to Robert and M. Louise Stamets in Easton, PA. Joan graduated from Phillipsburg High school in 1965. She was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal church.
After graduation, she briefly attended Ryder College. She worked for Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Nursery School for many years and later as a medical receptionist until she retired to care for her husband. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, taking trips , having luncheons with her old classmates and her cat Chase. She loved nature and all of its creatures, the sound of waves crashing and taking in the warm sunlight and fresh summer air. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Joan was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Louise, and her husband Ron, to whom she was married for 53 years. She is survived by her daughters, Sheri Westwood and her husband David, Krista Lipsky and her husband Jason, 5 grandchildren, Kelsea Huhn and her husband Jonathan, Tanner Lipsky and his fiancé Jess, Kaela Imboden, Logan and Aiden Lipsky, and her sister Jean Stamets.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Sunday, April 23, 2023, from 11 to 1 pm at the Finegan Funeral Home at 4080 William Penn Highway in Palmer Township, with a service beginning at 1 pm at the funeral home. A mass of Christian burial will be at a later date.
