Joseph T. Romagnoli

Joseph T. Romagnoli, 83, of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away on October 11, 2023, while surrounded by his family in Warren Hospital.

Born on April 2, 1940, in Alpha, NJ, Joseph was the son of the late Americo and Mary Armao Romagnoli.

Joseph was a member of St. Philip & St. James Church, served in the U.S. Navy and worked as a Highway Construction Foreman for 42 years for Laborer’s Local 420 Union. Known to many as Joe or “Pop”, Joseph was a stoic man and a great example of what makes a husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather pivotal in a family.

Joseph is survived by his wife, Linda Romagnoli, of Phillipsburg, NJ, his children; Joe Romagnoli and his wife, Nahla, of Virginia, Michelle Romagnoli Norris, of Easton, PA and Melissa DeLong and her husband, Nathan, also of Virginia, his grandchildren, Jeffrey and his wife, Erin, Benjamin and his wife, Erin, Breanna and her husband, Dominic, Jonathan and his wife, Mahala, Nicole, Marc, Brianna and Nadia and his great-grandchildren; Avery, Daniel, Sawyer, Kyler and Alina.

A Viewing is scheduled for Tuesday, October 17, 2023, from 8:00 to 9:15 AM at the Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman Street, Phillipsburg, NJ, with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:00 AM, at the St. Philip & St. James Church, 430 South Main St, Phillipsburg, NJ. The interment will then be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Alpha, NJ.
