Marie A. Grebenchenko

Marie A. Grebenchenko, 79, of Northampton, PA, formerly of Montana Mountain, Broadway, NJ, passed away of cancer on Saturday, September 9, 2023.

Born on June 17, 1944, in Broadway, NJ, she was the daughter of the late John and Ludmila (Seamanchik) Grebenchenko.

Marie greatly enjoyed the outdoors, having a fondness for birds and flowers. In her younger days she traveled the American South and West by greyhound bus and as she grew older, she spent time touring London and traveling to Bar Harbor, Canada and upstate New York. Marie loved rock and roll, especially the music of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s and she also loved working for Easton Visiting Nurses, teaching children at daycare, being with her young nieces and taking her sister to different places.

Marie is survived by her longtime companion, Michael Hnatow, and her nieces, Patricia, Kathy and Mary. Along with her parents, Marie was predeceased by her sister Vera and her brothers, William and John.

The Services are to be held privately. The Finegan Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
