Robert F. Hart

Robert F. Hart, 85, of Easton, Pa. and formerly of Alpha, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 in Complete Care Brakeley Park Center in Phillipsburg, NJ. He was born December 16, 1937 in Alpha, NJ. He was the son of the late Frank Hart and the late Francis Hart. 

He was a 1957 graduate of Phillipsburg High School. He was a US Army veteran and was in the Cuban Missile Crisis and was honorably discharged. Robert was employed by Shamoon, Camron, Atlantic States, and McWane Ductile in Phillipsburg, NJ. He worked the first ten years as a general laborer and the last thirty-two years as a supervisor. He retired after forty-two years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He had won awards for his fishing. He had a love for the Philadelphia Phillies, Eagles, and Flyers. 

He is survived by his wife Joan (Wagner, Synder) Hart, his two children, Lisa Hart DVM and partner Sherri Mohn of Ohio, Craig Hart and wife Karen Hart of Saylorsburg, PA., and three grandchildren, Sarah, Paige, and Kellie. Also surviving are Joan’s two daughters, Debra Lambert and husband Vernon and Diane Wisner of Easton, and Joan’s four grandsons and seven great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Diane Mangino. 

• As per his request there will be no services. Bobby, as he was known by those that loved him most will be greatly missed. His legacy lives on in the lives of those he touched, loved, and encouraged every day.
