Agnes Marie “Connie” Cote

Agnes Marie “Connie” Cote, 93, of Easton, PA, passed away November 14, 2021 in Bethlehem, PA.

Born June 20, 1928, in Voorheesville, NY, she was the daughter of the late Frank Zappavigna and Rose Lentlie Zappavigna. She was also predeceased by her husband,   World War Two US Navy veteran, Robert J. Cote, who passed in 1989.

She was employed at both the Carmelcorn Shop in Easton, PA, as well as at the Harker’s Hollow Golf Club in Harmony Township, NJ.

Survivors are her children; Robert C. Cote of Lowell, MA, Jeanne M. Cote of Fall River, WI, Mark F. Cote and wife Laurie, of Bethlehem, PA, Laurette Salzman of Osprey, FL  and Michael J. Cote of Tampa, FL.  Her grandchildren are Aubree Cote, Kip Castellano, and Gage Castellano. Additionally, she is survived by nieces; Patricia Deschaine, Rose Ann Freed, Christina Albright, and Kim Williams, as well as a great niece and nephew; Brittany Decheine and Chase Freed. In addition to her parents and husband, Connie was also predeceased by a sister, the late Elvera Timmins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at 1:00pm at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church on Hartley Avenue in Palmer Township, PA. There are no calling hours. The interment will be at Gethsemane Cemetery, also in Palmer Township. The Finegan Funeral Home in Palmer is coordinating arrangements.
