Arthur Roy Montesi
Arthur Roy Montesi, 71, of Leesburg, FL, formerly of Alpha, NJ, passed away on October 19, 2021 in Mt. Dora, Fl.
Born May 14, 1950, in Easton, PA, he was the son of the late Roy and Anna Barbadora Montesi.
He was a life-long care giver working as a nurse. A 1968 graduate of Phillipsburg Catholic High School he was also a NASCAR and bowling enthusiast as well as a jack-of-all- trades. Arthur had a special way of making everyone feel accepted and spreading his wisdom through his storytelling.
Survivors are his wife, Maria Machado Montesi, and children; Monica Seabeck and husband Philip, Cindy Dempsey, Steven Silva, Kelly Pantelis, Brian Loughlin, and Nicole Silva. Additionally he is survived by 16 grandchildren as well as a sister, Donna Johnson, and brother, David Montesi.
A calling hour will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021, from 8-9am at the Finegan Funeral Home at 924 2nd Avenue in Alpha, NJ, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9:30am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 5th Avenue in Alpha. The interment will be at St. Mary Cemetery, also in Alpha.
