Betty Jean Hartman
Betty Jean Hartman, 89, formerly of Easton, Pa., passed away on March 19, 2022 in Lopatcong Twp., NJ.
Born in Phillipsburg, NJ, on August 6, 1932, she was the daughter of the late Russell W. and Catherine Hann. Betty’s husband, George Richard Hartman, passed away in 2006.
Betty graduated from Phillipsburg High School in 1951. She was employed at Ingersoll-Rand, formerly in Phillipsburg, and then was employed at Joseph’s Clothiers, formerly in Easton. She was a member of St. Andrew’s Lutheran Church in Palmer Twp., Pa.
She is survived by her sons, Richard D. Hartman and his wife Dawn; and James A. Hartman and his wife Eileen. There are 6 granddaughters and 9 great-grandchildren surviving. Betty’s brother, John Hann, passed away earlier.
Calling hours will be held on Monday March 28th, 2022, from 4 to 6 pm at The Finegan Funeral Home, 4080 William Penn Highway, Palmer Twp., Pa. Interment will be held privately.
