Bret Lee Smith

Bret Lee Smith, 57, of Taylors, SC, formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away on July 4, 2023 at his home. He was born on November 16, 1966 in Phillipsburg, NJ, a son of the late Charles A. Smith and Eva H. Sutton Smith, of Phillipsburg.
Bret worked as a Deli manager at Lowe Foods. He studied culinary arts at Northampton Community College after graduating from Phillipsburg High School in 1985.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children: Ryan Smith of Tatamy, PA; Dylan, Cassidy and Alexa Smith of South Carolina. Also surviving are his siblings: Cindy Smith, Susie Collins, Raymond Smith and Kirk Smith. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert Smith.
A viewing hour will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023 from 2 to 3 pm at The Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman St., Phillipsburg, NJ.
