Carol A. Chegwidden

Carol A. Chegwidden, 79, of West Easton, Pa., went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus on August 11, 2022. She inspired many with her faith and grace dealing with her battle with cancer. Carol was born on December 10, 1942 in Easton, Pa., a daughter of the late Oliver and Edna Crouthamel Beishline. She graduated from Wilson High School Class of 1960. In 1963, she married her high school sweetheart, Donald Chegwidden. Carol is survived by her husband, Donald; her beloved daughters, Cheryl Bercaw and her husband Sean, and Carolynn Fischer and her husband Steve. She then devoted her life as a wife and mother to her family raising them in the admonition of the Lord. She is also survived by her dearly loved grandchildren, Donielle Paul and her husband Nick, Sean Bercaw, Jr., Taylor Bercaw, Annelise and Jenna Fischer, along with her great-grandchildren Natalie, Jonah, Norah, Jancsi and Lola. She also leaves behind her siblings, Ruth, Coreen, Dorothy and Mary, along with many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Richard Beishline. Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 19, 2022 at 1 P.M. at The Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp., PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Carol, to Bethel Memorial Baptist Church, 715 Chestnut Lane, Easton, Pa. 18045. The family would like to thank the staff at St. Lukes Hospital and Hospice for their loving care.
