Charles "CJ" Wert Jr.
Charles “CJ” Wert Jr., 30, of Nazareth, PA, passed away suddenly on Thursday September 21st, 2023.
CJ was born on January 11th, 1993, in Nazareth PA. He was the son of Charles Wert (Kristi) & Mary Ann (Moyer) Wert, all of Nazareth PA. CJ was a 2011 graduate of Nazareth Area High School. CJ was a CNA for many years before he followed in his grandfather’s footsteps at Victaulic in Forks Township. CJ was a core room machine operator and held the friendships he made there close to his heart. CJ’s caring nature and sense of humor lit up any room he entered. He sowed nothing but kindness and expected to reap nothing for it. He was an avid Pittsburg Steelers and Penn State football fan. CJ is survived by his brother and best friend, Jacob Wert and his fiancé Nicolette Herring, step siblings Kayla Marhefka and Kyle Strawn, grandparents Nena (Dellatore) Moyer and Robert P. Wert Jr. (Anne), uncles Louis (Chip) Moyer Jr. (Regina), Robert Wert (Lucy), Jason Wert (Tami), Gregory Wert (Tasha), cousins Louis, Brianna, and Brayden. He was pre-deceased by grandfather, Louis R. Moyer Sr. and grandmother, Carol Wert.
Viewing hours will be held on Thursday September 28th, 2023 from 6 to 8 pm and on Friday September 29th, 2023 from 8 to 10 am at The Finegan Funeral Home, 4080 William Penn Highway, Easton, Pa. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at 11 am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 410 W. Center St., Nazareth, Pa. Interment will be held privately.
