Dennis L. King

Dennis L. King, 77, of Easton, Pa., passed away on February 22, 2023 at Country Meadows, Bethlehem, PA.

Born on September 3, 1945 in Easton, Pa., he was the son of the late Donald and Anetta Britain King.

Dennis was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam War. He was a retired Easton Firefighter and later in life retired from Lafayette College working in the maintenance department. He was a lone wolf classic car guy, and loved 50’s music. Dennis was a life member of the Citizen Hose, Liberty Hose and the Fleas Club.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, JoAnn King who passed away on June 10, 2022, along with his sister Barbara Breiner.

He is survived by his children, Christopher King and his wife, Lisa of Upper Nazareth Twp., Pa., and Libby Weaver and her husband Robert of St. Petersburg, Fl., along with his grandchildren, Alya, Jolie and Corey. He is also survived by his great-granddaughter Arianna and his dog “Scruffy”.

A viewing will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 from 2 PM to 4 PM at The Finegan Funeral Home, 4080 William Penn Highway, Palmer Twp., Pa., followed by a Funeral Service at 4PM.

Inurnment will take place at a later date in Gethsemane Cemetery, Palmer Twp., PA.
