Doris Anne Flynn

Doris Anne Flynn, 93, of Burlington, N.C., formerly of Phillipsburg, passed away on April 11, 2023 in her home.

Born on January 30, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Harley Willis and Anne Bogart Hackett.

Doris worked as a waitress, in various office settings, and lastly doing assessments for home delivered meals, which she enjoyed because of the people she met. 

She was a member and one-time president of the Knowlton Seniors, a church choir member, and library volunteer.  She enjoyed reading, painting, traveling, and working outdoors.

She was the loving mother of 3 children, Canon Key and Kathleen Flynn both of Burlington, N.C., and a deceased son, Mark Flynn.

A viewing will be held on April 20, 2023 at St. Philip & St James Catholic Church 430 South Main St., Phillipsburg, N.J. from 9:15 to 9:45 AM, with the Funeral Mass to begin at 10 AM.  Interment will be held at St. Philip & St. James Cemetery. The Finegan Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
