Frances L. Homa

Frances L. Homa, 95, of Alpha, NJ, went to be with the Lord in Heaven, on October 19, 2021.

Born on September 24, 1926, in Stewartsville, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Lester T. Rush and Mildred V. (Woolf) Rush.

Frances grew up on and spent all of her life on a farm. She was married to George Homa and with their combined work their farm prospered. George passed away in 1992.

Frances was a member of the St. John’s Russian Orthodox Church, in Alpha, NJ, and the New Jersey Farm Bureau.

She is survived by her sons; Robert G. Homa and Kenneth J. Homa, her grandchildren; Christopher, Trevor, Lucas, Kyle, Emily and Shaylene, and her great-grandchildren; Colin, Veda, Jocelyn, Rowan and Hunter. Along with her husband, George, and her parents, Frances was predeceased by her daughter, Diane L. Homa, in 2012.

A Viewing is scheduled for Saturday, October 23, 2021, from 10 to 11 AM, at the Finegan Funeral Home, 924 Second Ave, Alpha, NJ, with a Funeral Service to directly follow. The interment will then be at the St. John’s Russian Orthodox Cemetery, Alpha, NJ.
