Gregory L. Hummer, Sr.

Gregory L. Hummer, Sr., 61, of Kunkletown, Pa., formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away on October 24, 2021 at his home.

He was born on May 25, 1960 in Phillipsburg, NJ, to the late Robert B. and Betty J. Honey Hummer.

Greg was a great husband, father, grandfather and brother who always provided for his family whether he was driving truck, installing flooring, selling guns or cutting wood to keep them warm. Greg enjoyed riding his Harley and hunting deer.

He was a member of the 1977 Phillipsburg High School State Champion Football Team.

He is survived by his wife Cheryl Tulba Hummer of 43 years. He is also survived by his daughter Aimee Kunst and her husband Dan, along with his two grandchildren, Katie and Ryan. He is also survived by his brothers, Bob, Bill and Jim Hummer and his sister, Bonnie Hayford. Besides his parents, Greg was predeceased by his son, Gregory L. Hummer, Jr., who passed in 1998 and a sister, Donna LaBar.

Per Greg's request, services will be held privately. Interment will take place in Calvary Cemetery, Harmony Twp., NJ. The Finegan Funeral Home is handling his arrangements.
