Helen B. Pierfy

Born on Oct. 18, 1920 in Bridgeport, CT, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Palko Marczi.

Helen worked for the Borough of Alpha as a court clerk for many years. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church, Alpha, NJ and for many years enjoyed signing in their choir. She was also a member of the Golden Age Club, and The John Dolak American Legion Post 446 in Alpha, NJ.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Guy Pierfy, who passed away in 2010, along with her siblings, Arpad, Robert and Julius Marczi.

Helen is survived by her sister, Irene Argentati and her brother, Andrew Marczi, both of Lopatcong, NJ, and many nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

Services will be private due to the covid pandemic. Burial will take place in St. Mary Cemetery, Alpha, NJ. A Celebration of Life service for Helen will be announced at a later date.

Memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or a charity of your choice.

The Finegan Funeral Home, Alpha, NJ, has been entrusted with her arrangements.
