Helen E. Regitz

Helen E. Regitz, 92, formerly of Alpha, N.J., passed away on December 28, 2023 at the Lopatcong Care Center.

Born on March 21, 1931 in Easton, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Paul D. and Helen Kovacs Howell, and step mother, Laura Gymarty Howell

Helen was a homemaker.

She is survived by her daughters, Judy Kelly of Phillipsburg, N.J., Mary Lou Cole and her husband Raymond of Lopatcong Twp., N.J., and Patricia Michael of Phillipsburg, N.J.  Also surviving are her grandchildren, Stephanie (Paul) Imhof, Nicholas (Shannon) Kelly, Rachel (Matthew) McCarthy, Korryn, (Justin) Scott, Marc (Jenny) Delserro, and 11 great grandchildren. Also surviving is a nephew, Michael Lenert.

Along with her parents, Helen is predeceased by her husband, Robert J. Regitz, Son-in Law Donald Kelly, a sister Evelyn Lenert and a granddaughter, Lauren Michael.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.  The Finegan Funeral Home, Phillipsburg has been entrusted with Helen’s arrangements.
