James B. O’Hare

James B. O’Hare, 79, of Lopatcong Township, NJ passed away on November 14, 2021.

Born October 31, 1942, in Newark, NJ, he was the son of the late Harry O’Hare and Catherine Loudin O’Hare Manfra. He was also predeceased by his step-father, the late Ernesto “Gary” Manfra.

He was employed at N & W Printing in Whippany, NJ where he was the shop manager. Mr. O’Hare was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Hillside, NJ where he was 1988’s Knight of the Year. A golfer from an early age, he was also an avid Dodgers fan.

He is survived by his wife, Marlene Michel O’Hare, and sons; Bryan O’Hare and Keith O’Hare and wife Stephanie. He was known affectionately as “Papa” by his granddaughters, Lilith and Lotus. Also surviving are siblings, Carol Lebo and husband Dale, Frances Bonassisa and husband Thomas, and Dennis O’Hare and wife Carolyn. He was also predeceased by sisters; Joan Barbini, Catherine Colitti, and Maureen Campione.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 19, 2021 from 4-6pm at the Finegan Funeral Home at 302 Heckman Street in Phillipsburg, NJ. A funeral service will be held on Saturday at the funeral home at 11:00am. The interment will be private.
