James H. Stocker

James H. Stocker, 92, of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 8, 2020.

Born in Easton, PA, on April 8, 1928, he was the son of the late Tolson and Margaret (Brannan) Stocker.

James graduated from Phillipsburg High School in 1946, attended Churchman Business School and Temple University and then went on to serve in the United States Navy. He was an avid sports fan, attending a game at every MLB and NFL stadium and also loved to follow Phillipsburg High School sports.

He is survived by his brother, Robert Stocker, Sr., his nephew, Robert Stocker, Jr., his nieces, Patricia Sodl and Melissa Stocker and his great-nieces, Vanessa Hosbach, Arielle Sniffen and Natalie Stocker. Along with his parents, James was predeceased by his companion, Clair Williams.

Services are being held privately.
