Jean M. Zenga

Jean M. Zenga, 80, of Forks Township, PA, passed away on May 13, 2022, at St. Luke’s Hospital in Fountain Hill, PA.

Born August 3, 1941, in Wharton, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Lewthwaite Stopa. She was also predeceased by her husband, the late Louis C. Zenga, who passed in 2014.

Mrs. Zenga worked for the Monmouth County Surrogates Office in Freehold, NJ and served as the Surrogate for 2 terms. She was fond of all sports, especially the NY Yankees. She had a passion for gardening and enjoyed trips to the casino in Atlantic City. She cherished spending time with her grandchildren and grand pets.

Survivors are her son, Troy J. Zenga and wife Leah, grandchildren; Nicholas, Anthony, and Kristina. Brothers and sisters are Thomas Stopa, Edna May Petit, William Stopa, and Sandy Elsholz. In addition to her parents and husband, Jean was also predeceased by siblings; Catherine Trevorrow, Joseph Stopa, Edward Stopa, and Mary Ann Stopa.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 5, 2022 at the Teabo United Methodist Church, 47 Teabo Rd, Wharton, NJ 07885 at 11:00am. The burial will take place on Saturday, August 6, at the Northampton Memorial Shrine, 3051 Green Pond Road, Easton, PA 18945 at 11:30am.
