John E. Skinner III

Born on July 26, 1936, in Phillipsburg, NJ, he was the son of the late John E. II and Margaret E. McDonald Skinner.

John was a United States Marine Veteran. He worked for J.T. Baker Chemical in Phillipsburg, NJ, as a fork lift driver for many years.

He was an avid Penn State fan. John was loved by his in-laws and his family and many friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Judith A. Hildenbrandt Skinner who passed away on July 11, 2017, along with his son, John E. Skinner IV, and his brother, Robert Skinner.

He is survived by his children, Ray Skinner and his wife Wendy of Easton, PA, Jeffrey Skinner and his wife Christine of Forks Twp., PA, and Cindy Barr and her husband John of Wilson Borough, PA. John is also survived by his siblings, Jean Talpas, Ruth Ervin and her husband Benjamin and Peg Uvary and her husband Sam, all of Phillipsburg, NJ. Additionally, he is survived by his loving grandchildren; Kristy, Casey, Angelika, Brandon, Corey, Dylan and Isabella, and his great-grandchildren, Joey, Oakly and Aria. Lastly, he leaves behind many nieces and nephews and dear friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
