Joseph S. Fiolek

Joseph S. Fiolek, 90, of Lopatcong Twp., NJ, passed away peacefully on August 26, 2021 at his home with his loving family by his side.

Born on April 30, 1931 in Bayonne, NJ, he was the son of the late Joseph M. and Josephine Babiasz.

Joseph was a United States Air Force Veteran serving during the Korean War. He was employed by the Military Ocean Terminal, Bayonne, NJ, as a systems analyst for many years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Fiolek.

Joseph is survived by his loving wife, Dolores Grabowski Fiolek, his sons, Daniel S. Fiolek of Bayonne, NJ, and Kenneth J. Fiolek and his wife Irene of Phillipsburg, NJ. He is also survived by his sister, Edna Jakubowski of Bayonne, NJ, along with 2 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11A.M. on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 at St. Philip & St. James Catholic Church, 430 S. Main St., Phillipsburg, NJ. Inurnment will take place in Immaculate Conception Mausoleum, Annandale, NJ, at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church.
