Karen Lee Falvey

Karen Lee Falvey, 72, of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away peacefully in St Luke’s Hospital on Saturday, April 23, 2022.

Born on Nov 9, 1948, to the late George W. and Elizabeth M. (Lansche) Unangst, Karen was raised in Phillipsburg, NJ.

Karen was a graduate of Phillipsburg High School. She was employed with the Hunterdon State School for over 15 years and worked as a home health care aid.

Karen loved cooking, baking and most of all her family.

Karen will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Thomas Falvey, her children, Robert H. O’Brien, of Phillipsburg, NJ and Shawn P. O’Brien of Tatamy, PA and her beloved grandchildren, Nathan Waldron, Dylan O’Brien, and Ryan Obrien.  She also left behind 3 nieces and one nephew. Karen is also survived by her sister, Dorothy Reade, of South Carolina and her brother, Stewart Unangst, of Naples, FL. Karen's sister, Diana Yukna, passed in 2018.

Private services will be held under the direction of the Finegan Funeral Home, in Phillipsburg, NJ.
