Kathryn "Kit" McDonald

Kathryn "Kit" McDonald, 95, of Yardley, PA, formerly of Easton, PA, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2023, at her home. Born on February 4, 1928, in Phillipsburg, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Lucius and Teresa O'Donnell Lilly.

Kit was employed with Ingersoll-Rand in the procurement department years ago. She was a member of St. Ignatius of Antioch Church, Yardley, PA, and was a longtime member of St. Jane's Catholic Church, Palmer Twp., PA.

In addition to her parents, Kit was predeceased by her husband, Eugene, who passed away Oct. 1, 2018, her siblings, Helen Lilly, Lucius "Bud" Lilly and his wife Elizabeth "Betty" Lilly, and John "Jack" Lilly.

Kit is survived by her loving children; Mary Louise Galvin and her husband Eugene of Herndon, VA, Kathryn Andrews and her husband Peter of Blue Bell, PA, Regina Gebka and her husband Michael of Yardley, PA, and Patricia Bricker of Ft. Washington, PA, along with her sister, Margaret "Peg" Lilly of Phillipsburg, NJ, and her sister-in-law, Mary Lilly of Phillipsburg, NJ. Kit is also survived by her granddaughters, Meaghan Jaffe and her husband Robert and Kathryn Corcoran and her husband USN PO 1 Matthew, along with several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.

A viewing will be held on Monday, March 13, 2023, from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at The Finegan Funeral Home, 4080 William Penn Highway, Palmer Twp., PA, and an additional viewing period on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 from 8:30 A.M. to 9:30 A.M. at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church, 4049 Hartley Ave., Palmer Twp., Pa. Inurnment will take place at Gethsemane Cemetery, Palmer Twp., PA, privately.
