Marian Siatkowski

Marian Siatkowski, 81, of Easton, PA passed away peacefully on Friday, July 1st, 2022.

Born on August 7, 1941 in Poland, he was the son of late Tadeusz and Janina Siatkowska, of Poland.

Marian was a family man, he loved his wife, children, and grandchildren very much. After being born and raised in a war-ravaged Poland, he raised his family in post war difficult times. He was a train engineer most of his life working on maintenance of steam locomotives and trains. In 1993, he moved to United States with his wife and two sons to seek a better life for his family. After moving to United States he worked as a construction worker and then demolition worker.

Besides working, Marian was an avid gardener. He loved planting, taking care of, and then sharing vegetables from his garden. He was a great cook, showing off his talents in polish traditional cuisine. He absolutely loved family gatherings, spending time with his close family and friends, sharing memories and many laughs. He was very proud of his two sons that were always by his side.

His life was changed forever when he suffered a massive stroke right before the retirement. Marian was struggling with many health issues after that, but always managed to fight off any challenges. He was a very strong man with a deep belief in God.

Marian is survived by his sons Bartek Siatkowski and his wife Gosia Tomaszewska of Boston, MA and Maciek Siatkowski and his wife, Joanna Siatkowski, of Easton, PA, and his grandchildren, Max, Alex, and Mila. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Sylwestra Siatkowska.

He leaves many family members and friends in great sorrow both in Poland and the United States. He rests peacefully now with no more pain and suffering.
