Mary J. Smith
Mary J. Smith, 96, formerly of Holland Township, NJ, passed away on January 22. 2024.
Born April 14th, 1927, in Glendon, PA, she was the daughter of the late Vito DiBilio and Lucy Selvaggio DiBilio. She was also predeceased by her husband, the late Walter LaMonte Smith, who passed in 1997.
She was formerly a member of the Greenwich Presbyterian Church and had been married for 51 years at the time of her husband’s passing. She was also a member of the Pompton Lakes Elks Ladies Auxiliary, where she was also an avid bingo player.
Survivors are her children; Lucille Crouse, Carol A. Smith, Doris M. Bulmer, Wayne Smith, and Mark Smith. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grand, and 7 great-great grand. In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was predeceased by brothers and sisters; Anne Kline, Charles, Michael, Samuel, Peter, Grace Bloom, Jean Ike, Josephine DeCenzo, and Louis.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024, from 10 – 12:00 noon at the Finegan Funeral Home at 924 2nd Avenue in Alpha, NJ, with a funeral service beginning at 12:00 noon at the funeral home.
