Matthew A. Johnson

Matthew A. Johnson, 19, passed away on March 6, 2022 at his home.

Born on March 14, 2002 in Phillipsburg, NJ, he was the son of Kevin Johnson and the late Theresa Halpin Johnson.

Matthew was a student at the N.J. Institute of Technology where he was studying Cyber Security. He enjoyed shad fishing with his dad, but most of all he will be missed by his family and his many friends.

He was a member of St. James Lutheran Church, Phillipsburg, NJ.In addition to his mother, he was predeceased by his Maternal Grandfather, Terry Halpin.

He is survived by his girlfriend, Adrianna Heath of Stewartsville, NJ, his father, Kevin Johnson of Phillipsburg, NJ, his paternal grandparents, Carl and Shirley Johnson, of Phillipsburg, NJ, his maternal grandmother, Shirley Halpin of Pen Argyl, Pa., along with several aunts, uncles and cousins. He is also survived by his beloved dog, Tito.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at 11A.M. at the Bloomsbury Cemetery, Bloomsbury, NJ.
