Nellie A. Pizzo

Born August 16, 1933, in Easton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Dominick Galasso and Philomena Monico Galasso. She was also predeceased by her husband, the late George B. Pizzo, who passed on August 10, 1987.

Mrs. Pizzo loved movies, Italian music, and loved her home and family.

She is survived by her children: Sandra Howey and husband Gene, of Easton, PA, and Brian Pizzo of Walnutport, PA. Also surviving are her grandchildren: Christopher Howey, Kimberly Howey Stout, and Dane Pizzo, as well as great grandchildren: Ty, Myles, and Lyla Howey, as well as Mason and Mya Stout. In addition to her parents and husband Nellie was predeceased by a sister, Mary Ganguzza, and brothers, Frank and Dominick Galasso.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2019, from 6-8 pm at the Finegan Funeral Home at 302 Heckman Street in Phillipsburg, N.J. A funeral service will be held on Friday at the funeral home at 11:00 am. The interment will be at St. Mary Cemetery in Alpha, N.J.
