Nydia I. Torres

Born September 10, 1956, in Phillipsburg, N.J., she was the daughter of the late Getulio Torres and Blanca Rivera Torres. Ms. Torres retired from the Phillipsburg School District after 28 years on the custodial staff.  She was a member of the Central Congregation Jehovah’s Witnesses, Bethlehem, PA. She is survived by her companion, Jose Vazquez, as well as brothers; Edwin, Ruben, David, and William Torres, and nieces and nephews; Ashley Torres, Sarah Rugg, Jason Torres, and Sean Torres. In addition to her parents Nydia was also predecease by a sister, the late Miriam Torres. Calling hours will be held Wednesday, March 6, 2019, from 6-8pm at the Finegan Funeral Home at 4080 William Penn Highway in Palmer Township, PA.
