Robert B. Stocker, Sr,
Robert B. Stocker, Sr, 88, passed away on July 13, 2022 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenburg.
Born on July 12, 1934 in Phillipsburg, N.J., he was the son of the late Maurice Tolson, and Margaret Brannon Stocker. He is predeceased by his wife, Patricia Trembler Stocker.
Robert was employed by Bell & Howell in Phillipsburg, and Allentown as an electrician. He also served in the U.S. Navy.
Robert was a huge Phillipsburg wrestling fan, Penn State fan, and Phillies fan. The Eagles were his passion. He was a member of the DAV, along with the American Legion. He also enjoyed bird watching.
He is survived by his children, Robert Stocker, Jr. and his fiancé Kitty, Melissa Stocker, and her fiancé Chris. and Patricia Sodl and her husband Steve. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Vanessa Hosbach, Arielle Sniffin, Natalie Stocker, and his Great Grandchildren, Cole, Kennedy, Avaleigh, Noah, and Brielle. He also leaves behind his beloved dog, Magoo, and his wonderful nurse, Desrine Prayer
Along with his wife, Patricia, he is predeceased by his brother, James Stocker.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 15, 2022 from 6 to 8 pm at the Finegan Funeral Home, 924 2nd Ave., Alpha, N.J. The Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at St. Mary Catholic Church, 5th Ave., Alpha, N.J. beginning at 9:30 am. Entombment will be held at St. Mary Mausoleum.
