Robert Shonk

Robert Shonk, 65, of Alpha, NJ, passed away unexpectedly, on Thursday, July 7, 2022.

Born on April 13, 1957, in Nanticoke, PA, he was the son of the late Robert and Helen (Yancofski) Shonk.

Robert was a Vietnam veteran and a hard-working mechanic, he loved motorcycle rides and playing board games with his grandchildren. He was generous, hard-working, popular, but most of all, Robert loved and adored his family. Robert also enjoyed hunting and working on cars in the garage, he was a dedicated Buffalo Bills fan and, despite his disabilities, he accomplished many things and achieved many goals. 

Robert is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Shonk, his granddaughters, Kayla and Ava Shonk and his sister, Marie Pudlosky and her husband, Dave. Along with his parents, Robert was predeceased by his son, Eli Shonk.

A Viewing is scheduled for Wednesday, July 13, 2022, from 5 to 7 PM at the Finegan Funeral Home, 924 Second Ave, Alpha, NJ, with a Funeral Service to directly follow.
