Ross J. Ulmer
Ross J. Ulmer, 60, of Forks Twp., Pa. formerly of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away on August 27th, 2023.
Ross was born on April 9th, 1963, in Phillipsburg, a son of the late Raymond “Buddy” Ulmer Sr. and Joan C. Walsh Ulmer.
He worked for Pride Construction, alongside his brother Shawn, for over 30 years. Ross was a 1981 graduate of Phillipsburg Catholic High School and attended Seton Hall University.
Ross is survived by his wife of 30 years, Kimberley S. Vandegrift Ulmer.
Also, surviving are his son, Bobby R. Howell (Laura), Whitehall, Pa.; Sister, Autumn McClain, Phillipsburg, NJ; brothers, Raymond (Susan), Williams Twp., Pa. and Shawn (Audrey), Stewartsville, NJ; grandchildren, Jackson, Amelia, Roman, Greyson and Ellie. He will be sadly missed by special people in his life, his mother-in-law, Linda M. Rogers; daughter-in-law, Autumn Howell; brother-in-law, Mark Vandegrift; Hillary, Brian and Capria Miller; Melissa, Ian, Warren and Calliope Russell; and his dog Cooper. In addition to his parents, Ross was predeceased by his son, Cory R. Howell and his brother Craig Ulmer.
Viewing hours will be held on Friday September 1st, 2023 from 3 to 6 pm at The Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman St., Phillipsburg, NJ. A Funeral Service will be held at 6pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Center for Animal Health and Welfare @ healthyanimalcenter.org
