RuthAnn Styer

RuthAnn Styer, 83, of Lopatcong Twp., NJ, formerly of N. Plainfield, NJ, and Hunterdon County, NJ, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving daughters on June 27, 2023 in the Brakeley Care Center.

Born on June 8, 1940 in Plainfield, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Otto F. and Ruth Wheeler Fiedler.

RuthAnn was a pianist at First Baptist Church in Easton, Pa., for many years. She was a graduate of N. Plainfield High School Class of 1958. RuthAnn was a gifted pianist for her entire life. She was a loving mother who will be greatly missed by her family. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sons, Robert Scott Styer and Christopher David Styer, along with her grandson, Brennan E. Smith.

RuthAnn is survived by her husband, Stanley L. Styer, her loving daughters, Bonnie Spada and her husband, Lou of Cromwell, Ct., Angela Smith and her husband, Harry E., Jr. of Harmony Twp., NJ, Susan Huff and her husband Ken of Alpha, NJ., along with her brother, John Charles Fiedler and his wife Carol of Ocala, Fl. She is also survived by her loving grandchildren; Shannon and Melanie Spada, Aaron Smith and his wife, Jade, Jordan Smith and his wife, Emily, Ethan Smith, Sherry Kennedy and her husband Shawn, Arianne Hughes and her husband, Justin, Kenneth Huff, Jr. and his wife Ashley, along with 7 great-grandchildren.

A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. in the Finegan Funeral Home, 924 2nd Ave., Alpha, NJ, followed by a Funeral Service at 11 A.M. Interment will take place in Belvidere Cemetery, Belvidere, NJ.
