Shirley Ann Baker

Shirley Ann Baker, 82, of Lopatcong Twp., NJ, passed away on February 27, 2022 peacefully at her home with her family by her side.

Born on January 15, 1940 in Easton, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Fred and Evelyn Mertz Hoppock.

Shirley worked for Gary Lee Garment Factory in Phillipsburg for many years.

She loved spending time with her family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, William W. Baker, Sr., who passed away in 2019, along with her brother, Fred Hoppock.

Shirley is survived by her sons, David L. Baker and his wife, Jodi of Phillipsburg, NJ, and William W. Baker, Jr. and his wife Cathy of Phillipsburg, NJ. She is also survived by her siblings, Louisa Stull of West Easton, Pa., Emma Torresi of Bath, Pa., along with her grandchildren, Jennifer, David L. Baker, Jr., Stephen Baker, her loving great-grandchildren; Ryan, Tyler, Alden, Albrey, Walker, Emmitt, Cooper and Quinn, and her great-great-grandson, Mason.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, March 3, 2022 from 10 A.M. to 12 Noon at The Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman St., Phillipsburg, NJ, followed by a Funeral Service at 12 Noon. Interment will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Phillipsburg, NJ.
