Thomas Daniel Seibel

Thomas Daniel Seibel, 61, passed away suddenly in the morning of January 1,2022.  He was born in May of 1960 in Phillipsburg, N.J. and is the son of Stanley and Marian Seibel, who were previously deceased. He is survived by an older brother, Steve Seibel and his wife Tempe who reside in Orlando, Florida, and a younger brother, Gary Seibel that lives in Little River, S.C.

Tom was an accomplished, self-employed artist receiving his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Glassboro State College in 1984.  Tom was also employed for a time as a Graphic Artist, an owned his own business, Home Portraits that he developed along with his brother Gary.  Tom was also an outstanding wrestler with numerous awards as a Junior AAU State Champion, two time East Penn Conference All Star Team, and reached the Division III National Wrestling Championships in 1980 as a freshman at Glassboro State College.  Tom will always be known for his signature smile and infectious laugh, and will be remembered how much he enjoyed time with family and friends, especially during the holidays. 

His family and friends are invited to the Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman St., Phillipsburg N.J. on Saturday May 7, 2022. A calling hour will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 AM with the Divine Liturgy to begin at 10 AM at St. Peter & St Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, 723 South Main St., Phillipsburg, N.J.  Interment will be held at the parish cemetery in Alpha, N.J.  A luncheon will be served at noon at Flynn’s Catering.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Tom’s name to the American Cancer Society.
