Verna M. Piraino

Verna M. Piraino, 92, of Palmer Twp., Pa. passed away on September 4, 2022 at Arden Court, (Old Orchard). Born on August 5, 1930 in Easton, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Lenora Rush Heeley. Verna started her working career at Laubachs in Easton, Pa., working in the finance dept., then went to ITT Electron Tube Division where she was a tube inspector, and then was the Owner of Hi-Way Market in Wind Gap, Pa. Verna enjoyed crocheting, shopping and most of all being a loving mother. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Piraino, who passed away in 2004, along with her parents, her twin brothers' William and Charles who passed away at birth, and her brother Stewart Heeley. She is survived by her children, Barbara Jo Piraino-DeVito and her husband, John of Williams Twp., Pa., Frank A. Piraino, Jr. and his wife Bonnie of Saylorsburg, Pa. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Chad and his wife Vanessa and Ashley Piraino and her great-grandchildren, Bear and Ruby Piraino. A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, September 8, 2022 at 10:00AM at the Northampton Memorial Shrine, Palmer Twp., Pa.
