Wallis E. Witner

Wallis E. Witner, 79, of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away on August 4, 2022 at the Phillipsburg Care Center.

She was born on August 27, 1942 in Easton, Pa., a daughter of the late Leroy and Dorothy Meyers Witner.

Wallis was a nurses aide at the Phillipsburg Care Center many years ago. She enjoyed making crafts on plastic canvas.

She was a member of the Phillipsburg Alliance Church in Phillipsburg, NJ. In addition to her parents, Wallis was predeceased by her sister, Dorothy L. Zeigafuse.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond Ostrander, her children, William H. Zeruth, Jr., and his wife Nancy of Nazareth, Pa., Charles L. Zeruth and his companion Shirl of Easton, Pa., and Dorothy Tettemer of Oxford, NJ. Wallis is also survived by her grandchildren, Jennifer, Amanda, Brandi, Taylor and Theresa, along with her great-grandchildren, Adeline and Alexander.

A celebration of her life will be held at the convenience of the family.
