William M. Fernandez

William M. Fernandez, 61, of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away suddenly on December 9, 2022 at St. Luke's Warren Campus.

Born on January 26, 1961 in Phillipsburg, NJ, he was a son of the late Joseph and Mariam Fry Fernandez.

Bill worked as a union laborer for many years. He was an avid racing fan, which included dirt track racing and NASCAR, and enjoyed camping. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his beloved daughter, Paige Fernandez, who passed away in 2013, along with his sister, Robin Fernandez-Tierney.

Bill is survived by his loving children, William M. Fernandez and his wife Renee of Lopatcong Twp., NJ, and Jamie Gasparetti and her husband Joe of Quakertown, Pa. He was also survived by his siblings, Forde Fernandez and his wife Treann of Forks Twp., Pa., and Lori Gilby of Oxford, NJ, along with his adoring grandchildren, Maci and Marco Fernandez and Liliana and Emilio Gasparetti.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, December 15, 2022 from 11A.M. to 1P.M. at The Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman St., Phillipsburg, NJ. There will be No Service. Interment will follow at Greenwich Cemetery, Greenwich Twp., NJ
