Allen Richard Slack, Jr.

Allen Richard Slack, Jr., 45, of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 18, 2023.

Born on June 4, 1978, he was the son of Allen R. Slack, Sr. and Patricia A. (Yeager) Raabe.

Allen graduated from Phillipsburg Highschool in 1997 and went on to work as both a bail bondsman and automobile salesman. Allen enjoyed watching the New York Mets and the Dallas Cowboys, he loved being around nature and animals and he would do anything for anybody in need. Allen deeply loved his family.

Along with his parents, Allen is survived by his wife, Carrie (Pearson) Slack, his stepdaughter, Cait Pearson, his stepfather, Raymond Raabe, his stepmother, Elizabeth Slack, his siblings; Aaron G. Slack and his wife, Elisha, Adrian Hill and her husband, David, Matthew Raabe and his wife, Sydney and Rachel Buzzard and her husband, Nicholas, his nephew, Anthony Jackson, his nieces, Hailey Ann Slack and Alexis Victoria Jackson and his many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A Viewing is scheduled for Thursday, July 27, 2023, from 5 to 8 PM at the Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman Street, Phillipsburg, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial is set for 10 AM the following morning, Friday, July 28, 2023, at St. Philip & St. James Church, 430 S Main St, Phillipsburg, NJ. The interment will then be at the St. Philip & St. James Cemetery, Greenwich Township, NJ.
