Judith (Judy) Rifkin

We are heartbroken to announce the death of Judith (Judy) Rifkin who died on December 4,

2022 at the age of 72 in her Bethlehem home with her partner of 34 years, Jack Golden.

Judy was born and raised in Harrisburg, PA. She was predeceased by her parents Herman and Sylvia (Rudolph) Rifkin. She graduated from Case Western Reserve University in Ohio and Mesa College of Nursing in Colorado. Her career as a dedicated dialysis nurse at St. Luke’s Hospital spanned 35 years.

She loved to travel, hike, bird watch and go antiquing. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She was involved with organizations, such as, Planned Parenthood and NOW, and supported causes like: Heifer International and Doctors without Borders.

She served as Judge of Elections in her voting district for 10 years. She was an active member of her community. She is survived by her life partner, Jack; loving sister Debbie (Ara Barlieb), brother Bruce (Joanne), 4 nephews, 3 grandnieces, 2 grand nephews.

Services are private. The Finegan Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
