Suzanne Spinozzi

Suzanne Spinozzi, 66, of Alpha, NJ, passed away on May 31, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her family after a courageous three-year battle with an aggressive breast cancer.

Born April 4, 1957, in High Bridge, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur Bowlby and Elizabeth Ader Bowlby.

Suzanne attended Mainland Senior High School in Daytona Beach, Florida, and graduated in 1975 from Phillipsburg High School. She was a Senior Branch Banker with PNC Bank in Alpha, NJ, for 20 years. Previously, Suzanne was with Lafayette-Ambassador Bank for ten years in Palmer Township, PA. She loved visiting Florida, particularly Daytona Beach, where she resided as a child, day trips to Upper East Side Manhattan, the annual New York City Columbus Day Parade, which she and her family routinely watched from the corner of 50th and 5th, and was a faithful follower of the New York Mets. In addition, Suzanne was deeply devoted to her local community. She took great pride in building and maintaining friendships with members of the public whom she interacted with throughout her time at PNC. She never managed to venture too far away from her work as she graciously and routinely accepted after-hours personal phone calls and visits to her home from concerned patrons who had financial questions.

Survivors are her husband, Louis W. Spinozzi, with whom she would have celebrated 43 years of marriage on July 26th, and her son Michael S. Spinozzi, also residing in Alpha. Additionally, she is survived by a sister, Terry Ann D'Avella, of New Hope, PA, a brother, Donald Bowlby, of Saylorsburg, PA, and an uncle, Cecil Ader, and his wife, Nancy, of Leesburg, Florida.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, from 6-8 pm at the Finegan Funeral Home at 924 2nd Avenue in Alpha, NJ. A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 12:00 noon at the funeral home. The entombment will follow at St. Mary Mausoleum in Alpha. Visit www.fineganfh.com.
