Peggy Susan Graves

Peggy Susan Graves, 83, of Phillipsburg, NJ, passed away at home, while surrounded by her daughters, on Monday, February 27, 2023.

Born on August 27, 1939, in Lichfield, England, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Florence (Randall) Morgan. Peggy was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Graves, in 2010.

Peggy was highly active in the Westminster Presbyterian Church where she played the hand bells, helped out the Bible School and volunteered with Meals on Wheels. Peggy also enjoyed gardening, but the most important thing in the world to her was spending time with her family, whom she loved dearly.

Peggy is survived by her daughters; Katherine Huff and her husband, Daniel, Brenda Susan Graves, Donna Vincent and her husband, Stephen, Deborah Mowrey and her husband, Henry, Sr., and Sandy Turnbull and her husband, John, her grandchildren; Faith Anne Pieretti and her husband, Eli, Aaron Huff, Adam Huff and his wife, Crystal, Kellie Voletto and her husband, Niko, Henry Mowrey, Jr., Amanda Mowrey, Christina Ross and her husband, Spencer, John Turnbull IV, Michael Turnbull and his wife, Brianna and Matthew Turnbull, and her great-grandchildren; Ayden, Logan, Grace, Lily, Ruby, Lucas, Gianna, Jayden, Jocelyn and Juliana. Along with her husband and parents, Peggy was predeceased by her grandsons, Daniel Burl Huff and John James Russell.

A Viewing is scheduled for Sunday, March 5, 2023, from 2 to 4 PM, at the Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman Street, Phillipsburg, NJ. An additional Viewing Period will be held the following day, Monday, March 6, 2023, from 10 to 10:45, at the Old Greenwich Presbyterian Church, 17 Greenwich Church Rd, Stewartsville, NJ, with a Funeral Service to follow at 11 AM. The interment will then be at the Greenwich Cemetery, Stewartsville, NJ.
