Elaine Ann Murray

Elaine Ann Murray, of Princeton Junction, NJ, was taken from us unexpectedly on Wednesday, August 2, 2023.

Elaine was born to the late John and Madeline Murray on July 21, 1952, in Kearny NJ, and grew up in Iselin NJ. Elaine dedicated her entire 47-year career, starting at the age of 18, working as a legal secretary for the law firm of Milbank, Tweed, Hadley and McCloy LLP in New York City.

Elaine lived a healthy and active lifestyle, embraced environmental causes, and was a “total Star Wars nerd”. She loved spending time with her close friends and would visit the city often. More recently, Elaine focused her efforts towards preserving the rich history of her family through pictures, letters, and keepsakes.

Elaine is survived by her brother, John Murray, and his wife, JoAnn, as well as her beloved nephew and nieces: Jason Murray, Jordyn Murray, Jessica Read, her husband Ryan, and her great niece and nephews: Mackensie Stanton, Griffin Read, and Connor Read.

Calling Hours are scheduled for Saturday, August 19, 2023, from 1 to 3 PM, at the Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman Street, Phillipsburg, NJ.
