Josephine Warner

Josephine Warner, 95, of Williams Township, PA, formerly of Asbury, NJ, passed away on February 26, 2023, in Bethlehem, PA.

Born November 9, 1927, in Asbury, NJ, she was the daughter of the late John Biel and Mary Slomka Biel. She was also predeceased by her husband, the late Donald Warner Sr., who passed in 1991.  

Josephine was employed at both the Lanark Inn and the Cascade Lodge as a waitress. She was also a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church in Williams Township.

Survivors are her children; Stephen Warner and wife Jacqueline, Donald Warner Jr., Nancy Ackerman and husband Dick, and Joanne Haring and husband Randy. Mrs. Warner is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Josephine was also predeceased by sons Alan and Thomas Warner, as well as a grandson Mark Warner, and a sister and brothers; Olga Snyder, Jules, Joe, Walter, and Michael Biel.

A calling hour will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023 from 10am to 11am at the Finegan Funeral Home at 302 Heckman Street in Phillipsburg, NJ, followed by a funeral service at 11am at the funeral home. The interment will be at the Norton Cemetery in Union Township, NJ.
