Karen Johnson

Karen Johnson, 60, of Easton, PA, passed away in Bethlehem, PA, on Saturday, September 23, 2023, with her sister Brenda Allen and niece, Vicky, by her side.

Karen was born in Easton, PA, on December 18, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Doris Hammerstone.

Karen enjoyed helping people in need and spending time with others. Karen loves collecting and taking care of her reborn baby dolls. She was also an avid thrift store shopper in search of all different sorts of knickknacks.

Karen is survived by four sons, Preston Clifford Dilts Junior and wife, Dora, from North Carolina, Charlie Dilts and fiancé, Kelly, of North Carolina, Jesse Dilts, also of North Carolina and Matt Dilts, of Easton Pennsylvania. She also leaves behind brothers and sisters; Ken Curtis, of South Carolina, Cheryl and husband Jim, of Florida, Dale Hammerstone and significant other Karen, of Pennsylvania, Brenda Allen and husband, Kenny, of New Jersey, Gloria Hammerstone of Indiana, James Hammerstone and wife, Kathy, of Florida, Carla Adams of PA, Kimberly Stackenwalt and husband Dave of South Dakota, several grandchildren and one great grandchild.

In addition to her parents, Karen is preceded in death by her husband, Russell Johnson and her brother, Barry Calihan.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 29, 2023, at the Bernadine Mae American Legion Post, 321 Marshall St. Phillipsburg, NJ 08865 from 2 PM to 5 PM.
